How to Become a Member

Membership Applications

We are an outdoor volunteer-based organization with a membership admission window that is open from February 15th to June 15th.

Juniors have restricted playing times, and will require at least 1 guardian/parent to join with either a Non-playing membership or an Adult Membership

Non-Playing membership – Open to application exclusively for Guardian of Junior players and existing member under appropriate circumstances

IMPORTANT: We are an outdoor volunteer-based organization with a membership admission window that is open from February 15th to June 15th.  We anticipate that during our rebuild phase of the 2025 Fire Recovery Project, our clubhouse and facilities will be in varying stages of availability, and we are seeking new members who are understanding and supportive of the volunteer efforts to restore our club to its full capacity by June 2026.

Applicants who receive notice that their current application was unsuccessful are encouraged to re-apply in the following year.

Please note that Board decisions on membership applications are final and not subject to appeal.

Part of the application process will include up to 3 club visits for play assessments and orientation at the club, weather allowing. These sessions are by invitation only, after applications are reviewed, and are required regardless of whether you have played at the club before.

These visits, typically lasting up to 1 hour, will be held at the following scheduled dates and times:
– Mon Feb 23 at 6pm
– Sat Feb 28 at 2pm
– Mon Mar 9 at 6pm
– Sat Mar 14 at 2pm
– Mon Mar 23 at 6pm
– Sat Mar 28 at 2pm

Reminder: NWTC is a proud member of the New Westminster community. Our goal is to grow sustainably in line with the population growth of our community.  While we do not have a membership cap, depending on membership attrition, new memberships will be granted to successful candidates to the extent that annual growth can accommodate.
